A 19th Century gothic theme greets you on this atmospheric game. A tracking shot through a misty graveyard introduces this title, while the reels are revealed to a suitably gothic soundtrack complete with harpsichord and sweeping orchestral strings. Bats flock behind the reel symbols while a full moon illuminates the scene. There is no room for playing card symbols on this game: all the reel symbols are faithful to the dark theme. Various vampiric creatures make up many of the reel characters, along with a blood filled silver goblet, a bible and crucifix, some garlic and a vial of holy water with yet another crucifix. One of the characters bears a striking resemblance to Tom Cruise in his performance in Interview with the Vampire. The ghoulish scene is completed by some suitably punning captions below the reels, offering “Bloody Big Wins” and so on. Smaller wins are accompanied by the tolling of a distant church bell, while larger wins feature a Christopher Lee style vampire laugh of delight.
The Wild symbol is a Zombie. She can substitute for all the other symbols apart from the Scatter and the Bonus. This symbol can also pay out the maximum line win: get all five on a paying line to earn 7,500 x your original stake (oops, sorry… yet another unintended pun!) With just four of these also offering you a win of 2,000 x, this is definitely the symbol to look out for. The Scatter symbol is another member of the living dead. Three or more of these anywhere on your visible reels will trigger ten free spins. All prizes won during your free games will also be tripled. Finally, the Bonus Symbol is a gravestone complete with human skull. You need to get three or more of these on a normal win line to trigger the Bonus Round. The Bonus Round can also be triggered during your free spins.
This game is compatible with play on any device. The overall background is a consistently misty grey-blue, but the reel symbols have enough colour to show up well on even the most compact screen
This is a great game which will suit fans of the ghoulish gothic genre. Lovers of those old Hammer House of Horror vampire film will love the bats and blood imagery while the soaring background score also adds to the fun. It is worth noting that this game also carries a particularly generous anticipated Return to Player Rate (RTP) of well over 97%. So with a little luck, playing this game could raise some decent prizes as well as the undead.
Get three or more Bonus symbols on an active pay line to trigger the Bonus Round. You are faced with a completely new screen consisting of twelve gravestones. You pick a grave of your choice, whereupon a grave digger arrives on screen to reveal what lies beneath. Reveal a member of the undead to win a prize. You can continue to pick until you reveal a lifeless skeleton, at which point the Bonus Round ends.
